Start Local, Think National: World Series Coverage for Louisville Slugger

After the historic 2016 World Series, Doe-Anderson scored over 58 million impressions for client Louisville Slugger. The winning approach? Start local. Doe-Anderson pitched several story angles, including the manufacture of Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs bats, the creation of Cubs World Series commemorative bats and the rapid sell-out of limited-edition Cubs bats. From there, we used our in-house approach to get the word out, which worked like a charm. NBC and 46 other TV and radio broadcasters provided coverage, and Louisville Slugger was featured prominently on the front page of our hometown Courier-Journal.
